I've been interested hawks recently and picked up a Columbia River Knife and Tool Chogan. I pretty impressed so far. It splits more like a boy's axe than a hawk due to it's mass... I'm still testing out, but for the $, I would recommend it. They also make a leather sheath to go with it (sold separately), that's pretty well made for the money too. Here is a couple pics, I'm comparing to the Cold Steel Trail Hawk:

I have to say, I'm intrigued. I'm not much of a tomahawk fan, but this looks like it handle a lot of other tasks, besides chopping, pretty decently. I can see using it for carving and scraping.

Its really an axe, in terms of it's mass. I like it! I'm taking it camping with my scout this weekend. They will test it lol!
